Today was my oldest sons’ birthday, he was a BIG 4 years old! I LOVE him so much and just hate that he’s growing up on me so fast, please my heart, slow down…..way down! We love you bunches, Mommy, Daddy & Jacob!

The other night I took the boys downstairs to get their pictures made. Well if you don’t know my 2 it’s alot easier to talk about getting them done then it is to take them. I stress out everytime I think about taking them more or less getting them to cooporate, which is another job in itself! I don’t know what it is about us photographer’s kids, they are the hardest to photograph! Even some bribery of candy and cookies didn’t work. Maybe when they get a bit older a dollar or two might do the trick. Until then I’m gonna keep trying This was the only descent picture out of about 150 that I took and it looks as though Thomas doesn’t want to be next to Jacob but in actuallity it’s Jacob who doesn’t want Thomas to have his arm around him so he’s moving over. Oh my boys, I love ‘em so! Enjoy….

Yesterday morning I went out to attempt to take the boys’ pictures together before the rain started to come in. How I was so hoping to get just 1 good one of them together, you know the ones where they are both looking at the camera and smiling at the same time, didn’t happen but what did happen were these 2 that I just adore

You’d think he’d be a little bit happier about his birthday present but the truth was he couldn’t get it to go anywhere and he got mad at it! So this was the kinda look I got intstead of big grin

Today my baby turned 2 I have no idea where the time has gone either. I can remember like it was yesterday being in labor with him for 12 hours as I passed the time by pacing the floors and swaying back and forth thru each contraction and then barely making it to the hospital in time before he was born. What a ride these past 2 years have been and no matter how crazy it has been, I wouldn’t trade those days in for nothing!

I took Jacob out this evening for his pictures because I wanted to say, like everyone else does that comes in to see me, that he had his birthday pictures taken on his birthday. So these pictures turned out way better then I had expected and I felt like every other parent that tells me how they stress out the whole day of the session or even some say they stress the whole week. I think I started a few days ago Anyway, here’s my favorite picture from this evening and more will come tomorrow.
